A beautiful Early 19th Century English Flow Blue Foot Bath by the celebrated English pottery firm, Charles Meigh, of Hanley, Stoke on Trent, England. Made between 1835-1849, this is a very heavy and very large blue and white footbath. The color is a deep dark inky cobalt flow blue.
An all over design of flowers covers the exterior and interior - so stunning! Marked on the bottom. It's so rare to find these larger foot bath pieces - in very good antique condition. Small chip on the foot as shown, some craquelure inside. Amazing as a showcase display with orchids, as a planter in your conservatory, to hold your favorite magazines, or rolled up towels in a bathroom. Exceptional!
