Gorgeous early 19th Century Flow Blue Small Tureen with Under-tray, so rare to find all three pieces together!  Beautiful design in Flow Blue of pagodas, palm trees and other foliage, the rims are decorated with peonies and leaves. Made by John Davenport, who began potting in 1785 as a partner with Thomas Wolfe of Stoke. He began his own pottery at Longport, Staffordshire, England in 1794. The factory closed in 1887.

This wonderful ironstone small tureen is an exceptional cobalt blue color on ironstone. Made in 1820-1830, it's in fantastic condition for its age. The pattern is called Cyprus. Marked on the bottom.
