A sweet addition to your English ironstone or transfer collection, this earlier 1900's Red & White Avon Cottage Plate was made by Thomas Hughes & Sons, Staffordshire, England. The design features a cottage in the woods and people dancing in the garden with a floral design border.
A gorgeous red color, sometimes called pink. Has age crazing and some discoloration, but no chips. A charmer!
