Antique French Pair of Candle Holders, featuring maidens in flowing gowns. From a French fleamarket, these two have definitely seen lots of life, they have most of their gold worn off as shown, with the metal showing through.
They each hold a taper candle, the bases feature a rooster on the front, and rose garlands on the other two sides.
