Beautiful Early 19th Century Blue Transfer Plate with Sheep, made by James & George Rogers of Dale Hall, England, in the very early 1800's {before 1815.} When I see sheep, I'm in! The plate features four sheep in the meadow, surrounded by a border of large and small flowers.

Like most early transfer ware, this one has a few small areas of "not perfect" - what you actually want to see in these very early pieces. This one is over 200 years old! It has a chip on the edge, which did not bother me, but please only purchase this beauty if you love it like it is. It wears its 200 + years proudly, marked with the impressed mark.
