Charming Antique Ironstone Sauce Server with Lid and Underplate, with the floral type of finial on the top made by several different makers in the 19th century. This rare to find small oval tureen was made by Petrus Regout, of Maastricht in the latter half of the 1800's, it has the old mark.
Bought in Europe, in very good condition, this one has a slightly creamy color, almost like light creamware. Use this for display, of course, but this beauty still has plenty of use in her. Serving sauces is her specialty! A fantastic addition to your collection of French and English ironstone.
