THE NOEL FRANCAIS HOLIDAY COLLECTION

There is something magical about how we feel about our homes during the holidays, isn’t there? We want to make our homes look as festive and graciously welcoming as possible, with twinkling lights, candles glowing, and special layers of garlands and greens tied with ribbons.

That incomparable feeling of H O M E is why I put together this year’s Holiday Collection. So that you, and I, can create a home where all of us, family, friends, neighbors {and we} can feel cherished and loved.

This year’s collection is full of small, beautiful decorative items and gifts to give to those you love, and to make your house feel like the perfect holiday home.

I decorate FrenchGardenHouse with a few new inspired seasonal touches each holiday season, a new pillow in the living room, holiday linens to cheer up our kitchen, and always a new festive apron that I wear baking pies with my girls and little people for Thanksgiving {and later for Christmas cookie baking.}

Every Christmas I want to make every room look as festive as possible.   I love this Joyeux Noel Linen pillow cover, it looks stunning in almost every interior, the stitching is elegant, and the fabric feels so good.

It looks great in my French Country style home, but also in my friend’s more contemporary home, she loves it!  I slip it over one of the pillows I use during the year, I am a great fan of pillow covers, as I was accumulating way too many actual pillows to store.

Right now, I’m embracing the season of love and gratitude with our petit Red Rose and Cream Hydrangea Winter Arrangement in the living room. This small decorative floral will move right into Christmas in December.

You all know I am a huge lover of real flowers, but when we have our tree in the living room, potted paper whites, fresh garlands and one large floral arrangement, that is about all the “fresh greens” I can manage to take care of. These little floral wonders? Magical in a forgotten little corner.

Now that it gets dark earlier, I light the candles in the kitchen while I’m preparing dinner.  It’s a treat to myself, our house looks so pretty in the glow of candles.  You know by now {maybe!} that I used to tell our girls that doing dishes by candlelight made it more fun! They still complained, but I believed it with all my heart.

These bayberry candles are the most wonderful candles. Only available during the holiday season because the company only produces one batch each year. They are my “go to” host or hostess gift, always joyfully received.

I packaged them in a cellophane bag, with oversized boutique matches, and a printed card with the legend of the Bayberry Candles. Tied with a bow and our own exclusive Holly tag, ready for gifting.

Candles add the most flattering light you can have in any room in your home, their soft flickering glow adds a warm, romantic feeling. Candles have the power to change your rooms!

For the holidays, I’ve created this gift set with a boxed pair of 12″ tapers and a large box of decorator matches, tied with a lush satin ribbon bow. A custom made gift tag is added for you to write your personal message on. Ready for gifting, and for keeping some for yourself.  : )

In the kitchen is where almost everything happens here at FrenchGardenHouse.  Our family room joins the big kitchen space, and in the middle of the kitchen is our farm table.  It is a space where everyone always gathers, no matter what kind of event or occasion it is.

It’s one of the reasons I dress it up with seasonal linens, which are an inexpensive way to spread some holiday charm.

The country towels, aprons and runners and napkins with the snow villages are my favorites this year.  They appeal to the child in everyone, and bring a smile to our hearts.

I can’t imagine a friend, parent or grown-up child who wouldn’t love a few of these for her holiday kitchen as a gift, can you?

For those of you who are more in love with the traditional holiday designs, I chose this classic holly and berries runner and napkin set.  The background is a very neutral grey stone color that goes with absolutely everything! It makes your clean white dishes look festive, but also gets along so well with your antique red transfer ware.

And if you want to really surprise someone – or yourself – surprise! – there is a matching hostess apron and double glove set too. These double oven gloves are getting so hard to find, that I went ahead and ordered some more for all of us in this design. You’re welcome.

If you have been very, very good this year, this bag is a total must have!  It’s my favorite bag for this season, it’s soft, it’s roomy, it’s beautiful, and it’s made of antique hand woven textiles.  It’s a little spendy, but a total worthwhile investment in a bag that you won’t see everywhere {or anywhere} where you live.  {Maybe your Santa needs a hint for an exceptional holiday gift?}

I have a few available – less than 12- each is an original one-of-a-kind.

There is so much more to show you, but I can’t go on forever……let me just say that I love this collection the most of all the holiday collections before, and hope that you do, too!

I love that you share the passion of making the holidays full of delight, beauty and warmth with me.

This time is meant to be a time to enjoy precious moments with your family and friends  – I hope that the products I chose for you will allow you to create magical holidays with your families.
