How to Make the BEST Holiday Pecans Ever!
Looking for an easy, delicious treat to have for Thanksgiving ? These delicious pecans are the perfect holiday snack, so easy to make, and the most amazing blend of salt & sweet. Make more than you think you will need…..trust me.
This is the simplest recipe, so easy!
I’ve made these and sprinkled them all over a larger appetizer display.
They are perfect in a glass jar and added to an antique French basket for a stunning host or hostess gift. {Look for many more invitations after you show up with something like this.}
Here is a spicy variation with all the pumpkin pie tastes you will love too! A few more ingredients, but oh so good!
FrenchGardenHouse Holiday Pecans
Ingredients:
1 pound pecan halves
1 egg white
1 teaspoon cold water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Beat the egg white with water until a bit fluffy.
2.Fold the pecans into egg whites until well coated.
3.Mix cinnamon, sugar and salt together in a bowl. Fold coated pecans into sugar mix.
4. Bake on a cookie sheet for 1 hour. {I put parchment paper on my cookie sheet}
You can serve these warm if you just can’t wait. Or cool, break apart and wrap in a pretty way for wonderful gifts for your family, friends, neighbors, the mailman, well, pretty much everyone!
Serve for your Thanksgiving at home. {Or well, yes, just eat them yourself. : ) }
Happy Thanksgiving!
