Pam Kelley Design’s Piedaterre in the Sky, a French Lover’s Dream

I am a huge fan of designer Pam Kelley, of Pam Kelley Design. A master at preserving the past while infusing modern energy into classically stylish home designs, Pam designs gracious environments for her client’s lives. Today, I’m thrilled to share this beautiful project: Pam Kelley Design’s Piedaterre in the Sky, a French Lover’s Dream.

Pam Kelley Design is a full-service interior design firm, based in Dallas, Texas. For over 30 years, PKD has expertly managed both residential and commercial projects throughout the country. This firm offers the complete package: design conception, budget preparation, space planning, architectural renderings, and extensive financial managing throughout the entire project.

Pam Kelley

This French jewel of a home in Dallas is in a mid-rise building, brought to life with the impeccable interior design expertise of Pam Kelley. The client is fluent in French, and visits France once or twice a year. As an avid art collector, the owner has many works of art that were used in this home’s design.

I am so enamored with the soft pastel colors used in this living room, and all the curves of the furniture.

The design team spent a year sourcing the perfect pieces, both antique and new, and then took the apartment back to the studs for the renovation.

Known for her classically stylish home designs, Pam loves to create a gracious environment for her client’s lives. Her interior design style reflects a sense of heritage and charm, while maintaining a current aesthetic. This cozy family room features that gorgeous screen, I love the graphic details of it.

Most of the home’s lighting is from France, and the hardwoods are reclaimed from France as well. In the dining room, the designer choose soft green colored upholstery to complement the stunning wall paper.

A collection of French wine and champagne coolers join with silvered serving pieces and Majolica plates in the kitchen. How stunning is the unexpected addition of that antique French chandelier?!

The master bedroom features stunning lighting, an antique mirror, two comfortable French chairs, and a romantic and stylish canopy bed.

Classic bathroom details highlighted with antique lighting and a dressing table and seat, this bathroom is a true delight. Imagine getting ready for the day here – so charming!

Pam is a master at creating vignettes with collections that have been passed down in families, or collections that appear to have been. The array of antique silver dressing table accessories like these hand mirrors and brushes make for a glamorous and feminine touch in the master bathroom.

These twin beds belonged to the owner’s Grandmother, Pam had them restored for the client’s two grand daughters using a gorgeous pair of French brackets and lavender checked draperies.

Pam’s clients are exceptionally appreciative of the homes she designs for them, so much so that their children often hire her once they acquire a residence of their own!

    Hi Lidy,
What a beautiful home! I too love the pastels in the living room but my favorite room is the den, with the master bedroom a close second.
