Exceptional large Footed Tureen with the original gorgeous lid from France. It was made in the early 1900's by St. Amand et Hamage, in the north of France near Valenciennes. Featuring a decorative and stunning floral pattern in Green, with exotic decorative foliage that swirls around the tureen together with the large flowers, the handles have a scrolled typical French design. The tureen has a beautiful shape, the whimsical handle on the cover takes the form of a branch, the leaves are embossed on the cover.
Delightful to add to your collection of antique French pottery, ironstone and transfer pieces. Display this in your French armoire, your dining room hutch, or as a centerpiece on your farm table in your kitchen. Wonderful to serve soup, a refreshing salad, or to fill with little roses or other blooming plants. Marked on the bottom. Please wash this by hand.
