AUTUMN ENTERTAINING | BRIE & BACON PALMIERS

You are going to love me today. Or Lisa, of Delicious Table. Or both of us.

Lisa and I created this series of Autumn Entertaining table settings and recipes for you,  together.  With beautiful settings to help make your entertaining easy, and your food exceptionally good looking and memorable.

And of course, we’ve included easy, delicious party food things for you to serve!

You remember the appetizer table we styled and set for Autumn, for all your parties, dinners and even Thanksgiving ?

Here is the recipe for the second appetizer we featured, it’s the most delicious thing that you can make with just 3 ingredients!

Decadent Brie and Bacon Palmiers made in minutes with crispy puff pastry, bacon, and melted brie. They bake in 15 minutes

One taste, and you will know…these are beyond divine! {and please do share them, you are making them for your guests, right?}

These also make incredible host or hostess gifts.

We put a few in French pottery olive bowls, tied them up with a ribbon and tag, and voilà, you have a thoughtful gift to bring to your host or hostess!

We still have an amazing festive cocktail to share soon.

  1. These look great. I love the combination of brie and bacon.
I make similar appetizers with puff pastry, covered with spaghetti sauce, topped with grated cheese, then rolled up and sliced. Place the slices on their sides to bake. If you roll from each side to the middle you’ll get palmiers. Easy to do everything ahead and slip the baking sheets into the fridge until guests arrive. That way you can bake them and serve hot.

  2. Love making Palmiers…love that you can make them ahead…(I freeze mine) I have never made them with bacon and brie..have to try that the next time…As always gorgeous presentation and I love that you could use them as little welcome/take away gifts for your guests…

    1. Shirley, they make the best little “take away” gifts after a party. With a recipe included, of course.

Oh, Lidy! I’ve been waiting for this recipe and never realized how easy they would be. Can’t wait to try them, but fearful that I will eat Every. Single. One! Great idea for gifts, and think I will give in the rolled up, plastic wrapped state, for baking at their pleasure. A little recipe tag might even be nice too!

  4. Ginger, that is a great idea, because then you won’t be tempted to eat some of them. Honestly, these are addicting!

  5. Lidy, these look delicious! I am going to have to make some of these, because I love both Brie and bacon….what a wonderful combination. Thanks for the recipe, and I hope that you have a happy and blessed day!

    1. Shannon, these are so easy, and super delicious. Like Shirley suggested, you can freeze them and then just bake when needed. Warm, out of the oven….just be sure there will be at least one other person there to eat these…I’m just warning you!

  6. Brie and bacon, two of my favorite things that look delicious together! And what a beautiful way to share with friends. Happy Monday!

    1. Happy Monday to you both, too! Brie and Bacon, you just can’t go wrong with that, right? This is a great “manly” appetizer, my guys love this one.

    1. I know, Peggy, and then there’s BRIE! So easy and so delicious!

  9. Thank you Jane, we’ll be doing another one for Christmas, with another tablesetting and amazing recipes!

I hope you love these, they sound fancy, but are super easy! I wanted to eat all of them, but for me I have to find gluten free puff pastry dough.
