Dreaming of a WHITE CHRISTMAS

I love a White Christmas, do you? Now that we live in California, snow isn’t likely here at home. {although we can go to the mountains!} Now a White Christmas is more about how to decorate for the holidays.

All White is elegant, calm, and beyond gorgeous! It’s the perfect color selection to go with our French antiques.

All White suits Gold as well as silver additions, and there is nothing like white to set off Christmas greens.

All White gifts are gorgeous! They really display any embellishments you add to your packages to their advantage.

For this Holiday Table, we used an antique all white Tablecloth, mixed with antique white Limoges plates, new Belgian Linen Napkins, and a simple White rose arrangement. The silver garlands and little Eiffels add extra fun.

Perfect for tea, or a special dessert time with your girlfriends after holiday shopping.

Mirrors make everything doubly gorgeous. I love to use old plateau mirrors, or even just mirrors normally hung on the wall underneath displays. Add a few votives and watch that display go from pretty to stunning!

White slipcovers can give your dining room a sweet romantic look, they lighten up even the darkest room brilliantly!

Vintage dishes in all white are the perfect holiday serving ware, they don’t have to match, their all white color makes them all look glorious together.

All white dishes and antique linens make a stunning holiday display, below, the inside of this antique hutch was painted a soft green to really set off the items displayed.

Fresh white paint instantly revives a somewhat tired kitchen.

This year, I’m adding my favorite Chartreuse Green to some rooms. {this is not my kitchen window, but I wish it was!} Even dishes would be fun to do here.

Keeping your cookies to all white and variations thereof makes for a beautiful display. I vary store and bakery bought with some home made treats.
Bedrooms in all white are not only beautiful, they help you fall asleep!

This is such a lovely all white bedroom, isn’t it?

I hope you have enjoyed this white inspiration. Do you love all white? or do bright colors really make you sing? I like to change it up each year, do you? I’d love to know. xo
